If fact the majority are now only used on Sundays and special occasions such as Christmas, Easter, Harvest, Weddings, Christenings and Funerals. To heat these buildings everyday is very expensive and the people in charge of keeping the churches going find it very difficult to have a comfortable church in the Autumn / Winter months that they can afford.
